Hope it's alright for this to be my first post on the forum.

Irish black/death metal act Beithíoch returns with a new single My Flesh and Blood Shall Feed the Earth: A doomy paean to death and decomposition.

The two track release is available to download from Bandcamp now, and to stream on all major platforms (Spotify, Apple, Youtube and more).

Beithíoch hails from the northwest of Ireland, with a name that, translated from Irish, means 'Beast'. From the ambient black metal debut Aisling Dhorcha (2008), to the thundering doom-death of EP Storms of War (2016), Beithíoch has developed a varied, powerful style focused on atmosphere and detailed guitar arrangements. Alongside the new single, Beithíoch has also recently embarked on a project of remastering and re-releasing a number of works from the artist's back catalogue to all of the big streaming platforms.

i am really liking the sound of that. production is lovely and warm on it too.

Fantastic piece of music. I think the balance of doom death, funeral doom and black metal is spot on and the combination is convincing.  Stunning video,  too.  Did you shoot that footage yourself? Any chance of a physical release? I can picture stills from that video on a 12".

Thanks folks, glad you're enjoying it.

Yes I shot the video myself, glad you like that too. I don't think there's any chance of a physical release any time soon for this. As time has gone on I've found that physical releases sell worse and worse as people just stick to listening on digital platforms. Unfortunately people mostly use sites like Spotify too now, which are terrible for artists.

Cheers.

Really enjoyed that, great tune. As above, the video is really slick too.

Savage job all round.
