Watching this with a few tins here before going out.  I love them anyway but jesus I have to see them live at some point, this is vicious.  I know it came up in here with another one of their live sets but your man is gas and also gives it pure fuckin socks, it makes it even more savage.

That is a great show alright. I love his between song banter.

Great live set minus the hardcore homo dancing of course.

Something about this music in that setting is quite captivating

Must give that a watch later, thanks for sharing.

I work with quadriplegic adults and the Tiny Desk Concerts are often left on as background entertainment for the lads. So, you can imagine my joy at seeing this!

Came across this band on KEXP. Math rock meets noise and grind. Fans of anything from Converge and Discordant Axis to Don Caballero and Slint would probably enjoy. They're very young too, impressive players. Considering how vicious the set starts off, you wouldn't expect it go the way it does over the next 15 mins.

Was only listening to their album recently:

Great stuff.  Must give this KEXP set a go later.

ah fantastic. The album is one of my favourites of the year, the previous one  (a bandcamp only job I think) is great too. Incredible drummer.

Who Rhodedendron always remind me of is a souped up modern take on the late great Breadwinner (if you ever wondered if there was a more metal version of the likes of Slint/Don Cab, ther was, and it's them.), which reminds me of this footage from 92

Seek out the recordings but this live footage is worth seeing just to see Pen Rollings in action giving it socks.

Ah class I've never heard of these guys but all that type of stuff would be well up my alley. The Rhododendron session is great, I watched a bit of the interview at the end and that second 15 min long song is an untitled thing they haven't yet recorded, so if you're already familiar there'll be still plenty for ye. Must check out the album now (alongside Breadwinner)!

A nostalgic trip this one, brother had it ripped to a VHS so was played a lot as a kid. Always enjoyed teethgrinder and how he seems to be in a frenzy doing the unbeliever solo. Bro always would just repeat the bass/drum outro at the end, class drummer.
