I dont really watch belator at all but heard about this fight.
Found it odd that MVP who's 14/1 and a fairly big name  was fighting yer man who's 3/1 (3/3 if you count amateur)

Looking at his record it's like 'he knows' someone.
He had 2 amateur fights  and lost both.
Then he's in BAMMA, 2 wins and he gets a title shot and loses in first round.
Then in belator wins first fight then next fight goes against MVP..

Just seems odd an unknown fighter getting these fights.

He mouthed off and they didn't have anyone to fight MVP that's how he got the fight. I have a feeling that whole event was built around Gallagher just like it was in February they were celebrating as if he had just won his first title and all he did was beat a nobody. I think Bellator keep pushing him in the hope that he will be the next Conor McGregor and be the one that makes the organisation massive.

I doubt it will ever happen Gallagher is not liked the only reason everyone was cheering for him was because he's Irish it could have been anyone out there and the reaction would have been the same. He wouldn't get that kind of reaction anywhere else.

Bellator last night was much better than Dublin the featherweight tournament has been great so far.

Bad gameplanning imo.

Looked like he was trying to pressure Israel because Gastelum had success doing it but Gastelum is much more used to fighting in the pocket against taller fighters.

He was really winging though, he was trying to take Isreal's head off with every shot.

Really disappointed with last nights result. I can't stand Israel he's even more annoying than McGregor. Had to turn the press conference off after 2 minutes he just started going on one of his the world is against me speech.

A very  annoying person.  A very talented athlete though. I was surprised how easily he dispatched Whitaker. He took wallops off Romero and kept coming!!
Costa is frothing at the mouth at the thoughts of fighting yerman. He looks like he eats bull jizz.
I'd like to see Dan Hooker getting a big name.

He is good but I think It's his height and his reach that make him so good. I would like to see him up against someone else with similar stats.

I don't really care about the Costa fight Israel I reckon will win pretty easily. I would be a lot more interested in a Whittaker rematch I think now that he knows what to expect he would be able to beat him in a rematch.

Delighted for Cub Swanson, great fight to get off the 4 loss streak.  I'd say it saved his contract quite a bit even if Kron is fairly new to it.
I don't like Kron from what I've seen of him.. he's got the attitude a lot of the gracies have.. but in fairness to him he stuck it out.

Great fight though, pity he couldn't ko/tko him in the end

I've met Royler and Robin Gracie, Clark Gracie too
They're actually very friendly and decent. People focus on them so much that it's hard to live up to expectations. That said, Kron comes across a lot less charasmatic than his father. I'd say it's tough trying to live up to the name, the majority of the crowd screaming for your head etc..can't be easy. He's not a Diaz, I don't know why he tried to fight like one. He should have been a lot cuter and pushed his Jiu Jitsu more. Cub a legend though, happy for him.

I don't say this often but Weidman needs to retire very poor performance last Friday. It's sad to see that the Light heavyweight division is in that bad of a state that someone like Reyes is now in line for a title shot would much prefer to see Santos or Smith get a rematch. The Stephens fight was great and what is Greg Hardy at just seems to go from bad to worse. He will probably leave the cage for a toilet break mid fight next time.

BKFC 8 was on as well last Saturday Bigfoot was a major disappointment someone else who needs to hang up his gloves. The goat is getting his rematch against Jason Knight next month if it's even half as good as the first fight it will be great.

2 Bellator events this weekend. Big Country Vs. Frank  on Friday and the big one Saturday Lima Vs. Rory can't wait for that fight the first fight was not far off the brutality of Rory Lawler fight and now they are fighting not only for the title but the million dollar tournament prize as well.

Ben Askren fighting on Saturday morning again against Maia I hope but wins not sure what is gonna happen to him if he doesn't.  Who knows what Maia has planned even for the start of fight after what went on back in July.

Hopefully next week Nate shuts that gimp Masvidal up.

If it goes to the ground Ben will win his wrestling is phenomenal it's why he was able to dominate for so long in One and Bellator.

Maia one of the greatest grapplers of all time. He's won ADCC gold a couple of times I think. Askren won't want to go to ground at all.
