Reminded me of Bill Bailey's bit about lists of things you should try before you die:

 The Macron slap was about as successful as that attempt! Hardly worth the 18 months at all

Dunno where this one fits but it's pretty funny

Edit: Actually pretty funny does it no justice at all. It's surely the most awkward interview I've ever seen and it's fucking hilarious.

Edit 2: Also never mind the political leanings of the article, the interview is classic enough on its' own.

18 months in the jail

I found a dead shrew yesterday. Typical, the first actual shrew I encounter and it's a goner, poor wee thing.

Night five now of jetlag. After around three hours of sleep I'm waking up at around half one and up for the rest of the night. Being stuck in quarantine for another week and a half doesn't help. Not much of a routine going. That said, while I'd prefer to be in a normal sleep pattern, there is something not entirely unpleasant about being up all night listening to music and reading. I tend to go to bed early and rise early in my usual daily routine so there's certainly a novel aspect to it. As long as I can break the cycle soon...

Hey McLove, are you going to be one of those lads now that come home at Christmas, boasting in the pub about all the money your making in "Oz", using terms like "way of life" and "standard of living", and suggesting that the lads that stay in Ireland must be thick cunts because of how brilliant it is  over there?
Please don't, its fucking unbearable.

I don't know who you are or where you live but I'll be sure to send you a Christmas card.

Thanks, just address it to, The Thick Cunt, Ireland, and I'm sure I'll get it.

Those bees are the gift that keeps giving

The swallows in the shed have fledged, which is nice. There seem to be four chicks.

Ah nice, always good to see. Any chance of a picture? Cheers.
Deep Down Six Feet, Is Where I Like To Eat

I'll try and get one tomorrow but they're in an awkward spot, and skittish as you'd imagine. They bugger off as soon as I get near.

There was a nest of starlings in next door's ESB box (there's a hole in the door where the lock had been busted out), they fledged a while back.
