Soap opera for lads who haven't come out yet.

I started watching it as a child in about 1990, the tail end of the golden era. Nostalgic memories of the old WWF logo.

Now, boy, you cannae be saying things like that while being on a metal forum.
Don't you know liking wrestling and metal is both bent as fuck?

Both at the same time? Sure 😁

It's an and/or situation I'm afraid.

We're all bum boys here.

The Bumboys are back in town

If Bono and the boys plunged into the Atlantic on board a Concord circa Rattle and Hum, would they be regarded as Irish musical heroes? They'd have been robbed of the chance to grow into the insufferable twats they are today.

Echo and the Bunnymen's "Ocean Rain", and "The Unforgettable Fire" are nice companion albums too.

U2 had grace at least up until 1995 ('Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me'). So as long as the crash happened before Pop was recorded, they'd be set.

Pop is mighty, but the scutter that's come out since can go.

Ah I do love me some Discotheque in fairness.

Hold Me is one of their best songs too! Recently bought the second Best Of (albeit for 3 quid) on CD just to add it to the library.

Pop was U2's last great album, but its been downhill since there, as an aside it took some balls to move from the sounds of Joshua Tree and Rattle and Hum to Achtung Baby/Zooropa/Pop, one of the greatest reinventions ever in music, also for anyone who saw it ZooTV was a fucking savage live show, nothing was like it before and nothing has come close since, just pale imitations

I saw a dude driving past on a little wheel thing with a platform, or pedals. No idea what it's called but it looks like a space hopper. Do the people who drive these things accept that they look like a cunt but believe that the convenience makes up for it. Or do they think they look really cool, leaning forward to speed up and leaning back to slow down, and actually don't realise the sad truth of their cunty condition? I suppose my question is, what the fuck!

could actually do with a best of from material from the past 25 years

That's be a CD single, 3 or 4 tracks taken from How To Dismantle...
