I think that's all she wrote in terms of the title. Liverpool just too up and down this year. Hard to keep that intensity going, especially after literally jumping from one season to the other. They were making massive news the other day about signing some lad from Preston..clutching at straws a bit. Van Dyck irreplaceable. I think a bit of coming back to earth will suit them and I'd say next year will be bananas in terms of them and City smashing all before them, something like 2 years ago.

Ya, that's it for Liverpool. Hard to predict next season. City will still be flying high, Liverpool too hopefully after this season's disappointment, but I think United will be stronger, Chelsea will too. I think the top 4 or 5 will be streets ahead of the posse behind them, not like this season.

Very disappointed to see that liverpool game this evening. I was hoping it would all stay tight to the end but now even beating city won't be enough. The top 4race should still be decent with very little consistency among the candidates

There's Seagulls in the Pool lads!

It could either way with Utd. They're very up and down still. Honestly, the league is like it is always. A couple of top teams and then some teams like Spurs(as usual) that look great for a while a d then start firing blanks. I think Liverpool from last year would beat this City team but it's a wonky enough oul season tbh.

Liverpool have missed jota the last while.  He could have made the difference in a good few of their games

I think the league is going to be even more open next season. They've gone from having the league broken up last year, finishing it out over the summer, straight into this season with trying to finish it around the usual time, and then it'll be on to the Euros

I was reading an article a while back that injuries are up about 25% than the average over the last few years, by the middle of next season half the players will be walking dead the way they're being pushed

Its looking like liverpool are in a top 4 fight now as league looks to be gone. I think City will beat them at the weekend as their confidence looks shot also.
Losing VVD was a huge loss as he is the lynchpin of that team , they could cope with injuries to their forwards but not him it seems. Plus other injuries have shown how weak their squad is.

They also look a bit burnt out as they have been really good for 3 years but that must surely take its toll mentally and physically.

Looking forward to Chelsea v spurs. Hopefully this will be the night Werner gets the monkey off his back.
