Man City banned from the Champions League for two years

Delighted for them, Oil FC
All the Financial Fair Pay rules are doing is baking in the advantage the established elite already have. The big clubs selling millions of t-shirts in China and collecting their Champion's League cash every year already have a massive advantage in terms of what they can spend. This is a rule by the big clubs for the big clubs, making sure that no nouveau riche can elbow in on their monopoly. It's bullshit and anti-competitive.

The Man City ban is cool. Being a United supporter though I would much rather get into top 4 and win a trophy this season, as opposed to get into Champions League by coming 5th and win nothing.

If only that kid from Donegal had written that letter to Klopp at the start of the season...

Can see them having a shit month, still will win though.

That Ederson spastic...

Liverpool winning the league in March, MARCH! The nice Lasagne I had for tea tastes like the arse of a can that someone has been tipping fag ash into as a result.

Rangers continued struggles perk me up slightly though :)

Thirty years we've waited and the run in is not against opposition teams but the potential of the winning game being behind closed doors. Mental.

Looks like we'll just about make it against Everton or Palace. I can see City flubbing again against Arsenal, to be honest. Torn on it. Either do it at home or Goodison. The funniest fucking shit ever.

Aside from the hilarity of winning it at your biggest rivals' ground, surely Anfield would be better? A full house who have waited thirty years would be much better than a sea of empty blue seats. I remember United winning the league away a couple of times and it was weird seeing them lift the trophy in front of an empty stadium.

Caught some of the MLS last night and the Seattle fans sure make some noise. Fair play to them but listening to the commentators talk about football is something that will just never sound right.

Great to see Liverpool back where they should always be. They´ re a very very very good team, but I think the talk has gotten a little over the top this year i.e. them being the greatest team ever in PL history etc. That said, I'm really looking forward to seeing them lift the torphy though I'm not so sure if they'll do the CL again. What a year it's been for them all the same, and if the World Club Cup could just be played between the only two teams with a chance of winning it i.e. South American & European, then I think they would be far fresher now. Was great to see Milner back yesterday, really himself and Henderson are so underrated in that set-up, completely unselfish pros who run for the badge in the same way the likes of Keane used to. That clearance off the line was exceptional.

United, I was greatly impressed with yesterday. I haven't enjoyed watching them since Fergie left and they have the makings of a really good team. If they could go on a run from now to the end of the season, I'd say back Ole, and I was extremely sceptical. I'd have grown up following the Pool and I'd still shout for them from a distance, but I think the Premier League is always better with a good Utd, and they're a great club to watch when they're rocking like yesterday.

Apart from that Chelsea looked interesting yesterday and I think we'll see a big push next year from the traditionally powerful teams like them Utd, Liverpool of course, City and possibly Arsenal.

My second team Newcastle..Steve Bruce has defied all the odds. Love seeing them win a game or scraping a draw. Hopefully they'll stay up now.

Spurs falling apart, Mourihno the wrong fit, he needs a team like Athletico Madrid, a bunch of dogs who will throw themselves on a hand grenade for him. Don't see him lasting and Spurs might take a few years to get back anywhere near where they were a year or 2 ago.

Winning the title at Anfield would be amazing but there's a part of me that would love to win it at the Etihad. Just to see the head on Sterling. Wouldn't be the same buzz winning at Goodison, apart from the lolz at Caomhaoin's expense.

If United buy well in the summer, they could be a top 3 team. The jury's still out on Ole. I think he's out of his depth but this is his second good run so we'll see.

When I was trekking in Scotland last year I met a scouser, serious Liverpool fan and he didn't view Everton as anything other than a pity case. Cheeky bastard! And now the Trekkie is confirming that it's widespread!

I actually have a lot of respect for Everton, Kev. Even when they're shite. Better than the likes of Chelsea and City anyway.

As I say, I'd take greater joy City providing the guard of honour.

I'd love to see them back challenging like in the 80's. If any man can do it it's Ancelotti but he'll need about 10 good players to.add to the squad.

Arsenal and City cancelled tonight, after the Olympiacos owner was confirmed with coronavirus and he was at the Emirates two weeks ago

I reckon it's only a matter of time before the rest of the league is postponed
