Get 'em to put on' Remove Kebab'....

There would be very little resistance to that, they are Serbs 😂

Thought  I´'d give Sade a proper listen, a random pick for sure!

Their Promise album is worth a spin , and then had to follow it  with Cocteau Twins - Treasure, as an excellent contrast to clear that sombre sax out of the noggin.

Peter Finger - Niemandsland

Incredible fingerstyle acoustic guitar. Saw him live a few years back and have been spinning him regularly since. Brilliant stuff.

The new Manic Street Preachers' album "The Ultra Vivid Lament" is very good. Much better than the last one (which I barely gave a chance, it must be said).

The Manics are always much better when Wire doesn't force his current agenda too much (like he did on the preceding record), just writes the lyrics and lets Bradfield and Moore get on with the music.

One thing that can be said for the MSP is that they never stay in the same rut musically.

Before the sprog appeared on scene, we used to go fairly regularly to a gay bar (or what our ancient pal Kev might call a "homosexual bar") here in Bordeaux called Le Trou Duc (a play on words of a slang term meaning "asshole") and you'd be guaranteed this at some point over the night. Unfortunately, not all gay anthems are at the same level of musicality.

I've been to a homo bar just once in my life. And will never stop repeating it was only by accident.
It wasn't bad though, they had good beer.

And will never stop repeating

Indeed, repetition seems to be, no pun-intended, a recurring affliction among those of a certain persuasion.
