Might be blasphemy but you can't beat the first Gomez album for the hot summer evenings. Might be a nostalgia thing but it's the business with a few beers.

Aye checked out a lot by them. This is just utter genius. I nearly burst a funny fuse first time I saw it.

That album was the only one of theirs that I liked TBH. Great one for lounging around in hot weather, though. Yer man Ottewell has some voice.

Gomez were metal guys?? Interesting.  I always thought they were catchy as hell but never bought anything.

I remember reading an interview with one of them and it was to the effect of "people are always surprised when I reply 'Carcass' when I'm asked who my favourite band is".

Or something to that effect.
