Random moment, Squeeze Me Macaroni is sung by one of Slayer as they go into Tower Records on Live Intrusion. I've been singing the two lines 'squeeze me macaroni, slap your face with my bologna' for nearly 30 year never knowing where it came from. Checked out the song. Very annoying music.

Did you get all the way through it? It's a grower.

I find myself regularly just thinking of the lyrics as I go through my work day and giggling at the puerile silliness of them, hearkening back to old times.

Anyway, I'll get back on topic:

Well sort of...

Trying to think of a Godflesh tune to lash up here but it's more all of it than particular stuff again

Think there's a part of Live Intrusion where they're on a plane and singing the chorus to 'Egg'

Got through Squeeze Me Macaroni and checked out the start of Dead Goon. Not for me.

Suppose I'll check out Egg so  Ya, the lala bit is when they're all messing around with bits of shrimp. Don't think it's on a plane.

I'm gonna go for three bass heavy rippers off Songs of Love and Hate, namely Circle of Shit, Kingdom Come and Almost Heaven.

AHH!!!

Circle Of Shit!!

I just wasn't thinking straight at the time. I still mostly stand by the idea that it's all so good that there are not many that stand out instantly above others. I mean it would be very hard to find a Godflesh bass line that I wouldn't be genuflecting to at some point of the song.

They've got loads in fairness, Time Is Running Out is another one from that album.

Stuck on Budgie "Never Turn Your Back on a Friend" for the first time in years, so many good basslines throughout the album but this thread just popped into my head during "You're the Biggest Thing Since Powered Milk".
