I'm sure it'll pull local punters just can't see it appealing to anyone beyond that.

I have people coming from Cork and The Midlands. People do like going to see bands where they know the songs. While yes some people would know the songs by bands on the Monolith Festival, a lot more would know them on the Whiplash line up. I'm not says "Covers Are Better", but if you can get group of musicians who can cover known songs well it can be a great night out.
