I only check these things out through pure curiosity. Endless Pain Pleasure To Kill etc we're staples growing up. Hard to fathom how utterly sterile this is. Is it any different to the new Testament  album? So plastic sounding and a dreadful album title to boot.

Last thing of theirs I bought was Enemy of God, then I hopped off the Kreator train. The title is enough of an indicator to guarantee the music will be fucking terrible without having to click a link.

Haha, I thought the title of the thread was a joke

Same stuff they've been doing for the last 15 years or so, nothing spectacular but I enjoy it for what it is

They're still brilliant live though, picked up a ticket for their gig in Brussels next year with Carcass, Exodus, and Nails, for cheaper than a GnR one, including flights

They're tight but I wouldn't go see them again myself. Seen them a few times years ago when they hadnt regained their following and it was much better, sparser crowds and they rocked out. These days it's a fucking panto, last time I seen them they had this god awful fallen metal brothers thing on the screen in the background, Dio, Jeff Hanneman Dimebag etc , toe curling stuff

Hate Uber Alles came out in 2022? It does not seem that long.

Amon Amarth furious they didn't come up with this album title

Just wait for the KFC sponsorship, Get your Kreator Krushem's here.
Wearing jeans and leather, not crackerjack clothes

I thought they were unreal live in the 3 Arena last year

I'd second the view on the 3Arena gig. I was more hyped about Anthrax but Kreator blew them out of the water. Some stage set up and all like.

But back to topic, I didn't even bother checking the new Kreator when throwing in an order with Season of Mist last week as the name threw me right off.Their last few albums just have the cringe factor set to 10!

Ya its pretty bad. Phantom Antichrist was the last one I enjoyed - everything since then has been bland/rinse/repeat i think. I wonder are they too comfortable with Bogren these days. Anyway. We'll always have Terrible Certainty and Pleasure to Kill I guess.  Mind you im a huge fan of their more experimental era (Renewal, Cause for Conflict).

Yep, I'd take another renewal etc over the cack they put out now. I think the last one for me was Violent Revolution

Even getting Arthur Rizk on the last record couldn't get them out of the safe typewriter euro thrash formula.

But Blood Incantation did get to borrow some of Mille's gear when they were in Hansa with him afterwards.

Still whatever they're doing is working regardless.
