Given that there is such a bigger markup on the single tickets (my Bucharest 1 day was €140), I'd imagine they hold some back for single day sales

Quote from: 0ricky7 on May 30, 2025, 11:43:19 AMI got a good seated ticket on Wednesday but I really wanted a standing ticket, went on 15 mis ago kept hitting refresh and ended up getting a standing ticket, will I be able to sell the seated ticket back to ticketmaster?

Did you keep reloading the entire page or just keep trying to add the ticket to your cart before you got? Nonsense this that some can buy them then others can't.

I just kept adding them to my basket and eventually it let me in,a friend ended up getting 2 standing tickets 5 minutes after me getting mine

I tried all morning it wouldn't work must have tried 50 or 60 times at this stage and 'no tickets available' over and over again so that's me done ill be giving this a miss it has taken up far too much of my time already.

I have never seen this before in all my years of buying on TM for shows that tickets constantly showing as available but only some are actually able to buy them. My guess is it's some sort of tactic for the dynamic pricing as they are probably hesitant to be up front about that now given all the criticism they got over the Oasis shows last year so now they are trying something a little less obvious. If some people can get tickets and others can't all they have to say is the issue was with those who couldn't buy not ticketmaster.

Theirs no way Metallica are already close to selling out a 50k stadium in Ireland when they couldn't even sell out Marley park the year they played there and it's not as if they released anything of merit since then that has people scrambling to get tickets for shows. It's going to be same shit show all over again once single tickets go on sale. 50 different pre-sales and tickets showing as available that can't be bought.

Weren't Metallica involved in some Ticketmaster scam just before the pandemic that was setup up to milk fans of as much as they could when getting tickets to shows?

I think pantera the first night will sell out faster on single day tickets than the 2nd night,a mate went to the European leg of the m72 shows and said that it was unbelievable,I've seen them Metallica 7 times my first time was the Antrim forum all those years ago,I'd say this will be my last time seeing them,I love the small venues like the limelight in Belfast for shows now but for this Metallica show I've made an exception hahahaha

I saw their M72 tour two years ago in The Lighthouse. No fuss getting tickets. Just Metallica fans there for the music, not because it was an "event". Time for a drink afterwards and still be home before midnight. And enough money left over to buy a Dewalt DWE560-GB!

There's no dynamic pricing happening. They could have easily done it but haven't. There's lots of different ranges like you can pay a load extra for early admission or 3500 for the meet and great or 7000 for one if the towers that comes with 8 tickets. The on pitch standing works out at about 105 per night which for a band their size in that venue is good value - well as much good value as a 105 concert ticket can be. I know they're a band everyone likes the shit on for money stuff but they've done alright by the fans this time. I know a lot of people who've paid 450 for 1 Oasis ticket and those fuckers might just not turn up on the night.

Decent seats for 2 nights for €270. Happy with seats, also pretty happy with price. Especially as Pantera were about 90 alone when they were here.

Yeah in fairness although steep over the 100 no dynamic pricing here, reckon everyone looking will get sorted

There's just no value in big gig tickets anymore. 105 for a standing ticket is pretty much par for the course these days unfortunately but at least I'll get 2 good supports (no Sweet Savage in sight!) and a 2 hour headline set.

Think when they did the original no repeat weekends in the states they were the only act that didn't do dynamic pricing in the states that summer.

They've always been a draw when it comes to shows.

Yes I agree the 105 a night is good value but why have so many had issues trying to secure those tickets? why do tickets keep showing up that can't be bought and why were only 450e standing tickets the only thing that was offered during the MCD presale? Yes they were 'Frantic' tickets but the only difference between them and the normal priced ones was you get in earlier. They were double the price and as soon as you need to piss your decent spot you got from being there early is gone

Wasn't in a position to get tix the other day - too much going on. Will there be anything left for the single night ticket sale?

Finally standing tickets that can actually be bought are on TM right now. 222 each including fees.
