Quote from: Bürggermeister on March 14, 2025, 07:51:19 AMThis thread has been a bit of a head wreck. There have been plenty of albums I think of as being predominantly blue but, when I have a look at the cover, they're not blue at all, or barely so. One example being Testimony of the Ancients. The penny has dropped that it's because of the colour of the cassette inlay, in my head I still associate it with the album cover as a whole. When I wanted to hear that album, I would look for the blue spine on the shelf, same for Unquestionable Presence, though that has at least a decent splash of blue. Cunty 😂

I was similar thinking that How Will I Laugh Tomorrow was more blue than it actually is.

Quote from: Thorn on March 13, 2025, 10:01:16 PMIt's definitely borderline, I think there's so many reissues of it, it might even depend on which one you have.

I have the Cosmic Key Creations edition from 2022 which is blue. None more blue.

I think that including How Will I Laugh... in any "Favourite Album..." thread is completely legitimate.

I would have always considered albums like Nightside Eclipse and Storm of the Lights Bane very blue, but looking at my copies they're a lot more purple. Don't know if they've just faded that way over time, or if I picked up some weird (bootleg?) versions

Don't know about Nightside Eclipse, but Storm of the Lights Bane certainly has prints across a broad spectrum of shades.

This is another one I listen to fairly frequently. Unreal dissonant death metal. Blue tinge across it as far as I'm concerned

Can't believe I forgot this, that juiced up
Smurf is a ripper.

Not a favorite but QOTS - Rated R comes straight to mind.

Also...
Deep Purple - In Rock
Skid Row - Subhuman Race

Scorpions definitely have a few.
Blackout, Animal Magnetism, Savage Amusement...

This thread has me going to stuff I haven't listened to for ages.
Some brilliant albums popping up.

Nearly forgot this one, starting to wonder now how blue albums stack up against some other colours
