Oddly used to see heaps online about stuff going on up there metal-wise but had noticed it drop off fairly rapidly in the last 6 months, shame considering I was seeing Hexen Haus and Feast gigs advertised as often as gigs here in Limerick for some time.  Anyone know what the turn outs for the regular gigs were like?

Hexen Haus always have fairly decent turnouts. Might be a revival in the future but for now we're all too busy with other stuff.

Good to hear ye're still keeping it in mind - guessing at least ye'll run Walpurgis' again this year?

looking unlikely at the moment

Curious about Grave Sermon after seeing they're looking to start gigging fairly sharpish

I'd say the Decaying Remains demo counts as filth since I see that adjective a lot on our bandcamp.

new plague pit, that came out quick, fair play.... https://plaguepit.bandcamp.com/album/topheth-ablaze?fbclid=IwAR2xqCqrfZDWgUlQ1p0baTmpNAt9P516zLttvahGuXh1xmNIXXkjC4S_0aU

Listening now, sounds great  actually, but step  up from the demo.  I really want to see this done live now.

Yep,  sounds good to me. A bit more mature/ complex than the demo.

Damn that's a nice step up alright! Defo more variance and complexity in the guitar work with the high string dissonance, Chthe'ilist murk and leads/harmonies. Top tier stuff.

Also, the fact this was written and recorded in under a year since the demo now has me feeling worthless in terms of my own productivity.

New Plague Pit is class. I'd love to see more of this type of thing, at least in studio form if not in a live setting.

For local self-promotion purposes: Disconnect released their latest EP at the end of 2018. It's listenable here.

Jaysus, this new Plague Pit album is class!

Onkalo from Cork threw out a great EP in 2017 - members of [r]oas  and Kawtiks - pure filth. Think they may have gone off the grid though...

Yeah, from what Fitzy was telling me recently it's pretty much on "indefinite hiatus"

Hey,
