I was expecting harsh vocals to come in so it threw me off too hear singing. Not bad, not amazing either. I'll give it a full listen later with new expectations.

Black Metal From NI

I really like that haunted mansion synth bit but yeah the vocals let it down.

Hailing from May(o)hem. The pun may need work 😄

These lads were all in bands playing at the first battle of the bands I went to aged 10 or 11. Full circle 30 years later.

The first song is cool, the rest I found a little dull. Oddly the vocals kind of remind me of a less theatric David Bower from Hell.

Also what is it with 99% of Irish bands having crap logos?

Took a punt on the new 'Stalemate' EP from Dublin lads Uragh.
Heavy enough metalcore fare, but decent enough.

Anyway!
When I put it on first I had the speed still at 33RPM instead of the 45.
And I have to say it sounds 100 times better at the slower speed.
Heavy Doom Post Metal...

These lads could really be onto something!

Here's the artwork as well

This sounds great!

Who's involved?
Is it yourself Tron?
Liam's vocals are pretty obvious.
And it sounds like Jen from Shadows Calling on vocals as well.

It'ds Ian and Col from Mabus and Paul from Bodydrinkers/Ex Inferus and myself on drums and Liam on vocals as well. I was just following orders though lol but the lads put a lot of work into it. Jens not on it, it's some American singer they found I think.

Yup, I'll buy a copy next pay day.

You must have a good pay day!! Expensive enough within the EU. But besides that, an absolutely amazing band when I caught them a day months ago, they absolutely smashed it  :abbath:  :abbath:

Gonna pre-order one of these.
They were great opening for Hasturian Vigil a while back.

It's what...€5 or €6 to post from Germany.
It'll cost you nearly a €5er in Ireland alone, these days.

Cutthroat tape ordered. €16 with postage to Aus. Not too bad  8)

Ordered the Cuthroat tape too, along with three other cool things from the distro. €3 postage.

The band are saying they'll have copies on their own Bandcamp from Friday, so gonna wait till then.
