Only available for 48hrs or something. Ghastly piece of merch for €51, but fill your boots!

Great time at this, Maiden always deliver, though prob not the slickest performance I've seen by them. I was well aware of the setlist beforehand, really enjoyed it, Powerslave prob the highlight. Visuals were cool, the bright evening prob didn't help with them overall, I thought Rime would have been cooler if it was dark, but sure that's nobody's fault.

Malahide was a better venue overall than I expected inside in terms of space and sound for the gig, getting out of the carpark and village was a pain in the hole.

Dire, dire support. If you're The Raven Age, supporting Daddy once again, do something to make yourself interesting. Play a wee 30sec jam of  Maiden riffs there, cause nobody is paying to see you and everybody knows why you're there, you may as well lean into it.

On pre-order 'til 2nd of August it says there. Pretty awful though, look at the size of Eddie's head!

QuoteAvailable for 48 Hours Only Only available for a limited time, this Tee is the same event tee which was sold at the Dublin show as part of the 2025 Run For Your Lives Tour.

Yes, I saw that. I also see this:

Maybe it's being shipped on that date, I dunno...

Well enjoyed that, only other time I saw them was for the Book of Souls tour so nice to hear a lot of the classics. Drummer seemed to struggle more with the Clive Burr material than the Nicko stuff I thought.

Support terrible but that's par the course for Maiden.

Get a different drummer in and I reckon they have a few years left, definitely don't think Bruce is ready to pack it in anyway.

Just looking at some photos there, some crowd at it. That must be the biggest audience they've played to in Ireland surely (unless the Belfast show a coupla years ago was bigger)? What was it, 20,000?

I was at Belfast it was smaller think 15k

Just on the support, I expected little from Halestorm but thought they were decent enough. Yer man's drum solo made me laugh. Maiden were class as usual. Wondered if 'Powerslave, 2 mins & Rime' might drag but far from it, thought it worked really well

That shirt is shockingly bad, must be the worst of the current tour

I'd say so they did play RDS years ago with Marilyn Manson and Turbonegro. Bigger capacity but tickets sales here for them stronger now I suspect.

The absurd amount of Riggs influenced artists nowadays but the tight bastards won't bother commissioning something decent.

Credit where it's due Halestorm are around a long time and mostly drew from an album that isn't even released yet.

Rime had some of the best visuals, brilliant evening. Organisation could have been better in a few regards. Queues to the dart were sizeable but moved quick that it wasn't so taxing.

Enjoyed the gig. Really fantastic setlist which I'd managed to stay away from having spoiled for me so it was great seeing what they played. Loved the idea of the new visual backgrounds. Sound was a bit iffy, not much clarity at times but I guess you have to deal with that outdoors and in a big venue.

Felt like the band weren't on top form. Lots of mistakes and a few were very noticeable. Surprised to see Adrian smith having a few as he's usually very solid. Felt a bit like Bruce's voice was a bit strained at times but not bad for his age and he was still tearing around the stage for the 2 hours.

Had never been to Malahide for a gig before. I liked the vibe of a big outdoor gig but there was a few things that could have been improved. The jacks only being at the back was stupid, you had to walk all the way back through the crowd to use the toilets. The queues were bad at times too like right before Maiden were starting. More toilets or even urinals at the front aswell would have helped. It was a bit slow getting in and out due to traffic but I'd heard it was bad beforehand so was expecting it.

Also what's the story with them not playing Always look on the Bright side of Life after the gig? Love walking away after seeing them with everyone singing and whistling along.

I felt it wasn't a patch on the last show in Dublin, or the Legacy show in Belfast, but still for a bunch of pensioners they are still a great live act.

The drummer wasn't too bad, but totally missing the Nicko feel. I wouldn't be a massive Nicko fan but he had his own style & groove which was totally absent.
