Rhoads wasn't nearly as bad as Zakk with "Zakk Sabbath" though.  Plus there is the whole harmonics thing.

I didn't mind him on the Sabbath stuff so much with Ozzy, and I actually really liked the Pride & Glory version of The Wizard. But everything since is just awful.

It is disappointing, becuase he is just someone who I used to really love as a player and performer, but he has been appalling for over 20 years IMO. Tedious fucking songs, daft contrived image (and that ratty dyed beard, the ugly fucking guitars, sweet Jesus) and even his leads aren't memorable anymore. Plus he comes across as a complete tool in his interviews

I'm up for this. I was supposed to see them at the gig after 911 where they pulled out (was it Tattoo the Planet in the Point?).

Bollocks. I went to see Zakk Sabbath in Birmingham on the 50th anniversary of the first Sabbath album and it was the biggest pile of shite I've ever been to, just mindless fucking widdling. It would have been harder to kill the buzz than play Sabbath songs and have a great night but that cunt managed it. I wouldn't open the curtains if the fucker was playing outside my bedroom, never mind pay 80 quid to listen to the self-indulgent prick.

Don't get me wrong... I'm not saying he's a bad person...

I saw the current Pantera lineup at Graspop last summer. It was tight. I don't recall Zakk being out of line.

I don't remember anything out of line either at the shows I saw but in saying that I was fairly hammered at both. I also don't know much about Zakk and seeing him with Pantera was the first note of music I had ever heard him play.

They even seem to be switching up the sets a bit as the ones I saw last year were a bit different to what they played in Australia recently.

I wonder if this will be an instant sell out or if tickets will last for a while as I need to get a loan if I am get tickets next week.

For anyone wondering they had VIP in Europe last year but it was a rip off $250 per person. Phil and Zakk seem to go out and wander around whatever city they are playing before each show. Theirs a whole facebook group for the reunion tour that shows people meeting them all over the place and getting photos.
