I saw Kickback rotten drunk the Saturday of Hellfest 2007. Never heard a note of them, but there was such a buzz about them I went along. Moseyed into the pit, again, not really knowing the score in pits like that and got my nose spread across my face. Between my blood and the muck everywhere, my pristine Municipal Waste tshirt was never the same again.

ok, I'll bite....Kickback are a band that can never deny anything, it'll ruin their reputation, the worse the acusation the more they play to it, I've been in contact with Steve since 1999/2000, he sent me a promo pack for a zine I was doing at the time based on the fact I like Power Electronics, Peter Sotos, ad not that I like Integrity, and we've just more or less got along due to interests outside of HC and METAL. Are kickback racist? They were signed to the biggest hiphop label in France for 5 years and getting a serious push....maybe Hostile records were just blind....Their logo was done by a major non caucasian in the Paris Grafitti scene, they have rap artist of white and black origin drop a bar or two on their albums, sure, maybe they are. Or maybe they like to listen to what ever the fuck they want, and not have to worry will they be cancelled next week.
