Might have a look, cheers. I had Lullabies To Violaine downloaded a few years ago, found it very uneven but then it was a singles comp. so it would be.

I have Garlands lined up for a start anyway.

Edit: Listening to Garlands now, there's a huge Siouxsie influence on her vocals, hadn't expected that. A lot of similarities with the early Dead Can Dance releases too, which was inevitable I suppose. Good stuff anyway.

I fired Head Over Heels on earlier. I'll have to try Garlands.

I am nearly through a first listen of Cocteau Twins "Garlands" based on the posts in this thread and lads ye are right.  This is lethal outright.  All the exact buzz I love in this style of music and the influence on loads of other stuff I listen to immediately obvious.  Class recommendation.  Cheers

I suppose Ween - "Quebec" goes here.

An album that has crept up rapidly into an all time favourite over the last few years.  Completely class and they do a sort of everything on here, with it all just sounding like Ween.  Just unreal.  Wouldn't know who not to recommend it to it is so good.  Have it on now again after a few months of it not on (it being a solid constant since I found it).

Rosie Vela 'Zazu'- found a copy of this in town yesterday dirt cheap and had to grab it, used to love this as a kid. Relatively obscure 80s pop with a Donald Fagan and Walter Becker on it. Perfect Sunday morning record

Pixies - Trompe le Monde

The best Pixies album imo. Bird Dream of the Olympus Mons and Motorway to Roswell are some of the most beautiful songs they wrote.

Finally checked out Garlands. Fucking awesome, great recommendation.

I'd tried Heaven or Las Vegas a few times in the past and it had never really grabbed me, but Garlands was great immediately.
