End Hits needs a mention too if we're talking Fugazi. I'd go Killtaker, Repeater, End Hits.

Are we all up on the current McKaye family bands? Ian is the better known brother, but  Alec and Amanda McKaye ain't no slouches, and their current respective bands are great.

Hammered Hulls will fill the Fugazi gap in your life

Bedmaker is a little more rough and ready, reminds me some of the Slampt bands but with that DC edge - took a little longer to grow on me but the album is fantastic

Both albums on Dischord usurprisingly

Holding back on recommending a ton of Fugazi inspired/related bands here cos we'd be here all day haha!

End Hits and In On The Kill-Taker were the two I picked up back in the day. End Hits is the better off the two, but both are cool.

Songs from the Big Chair has been getting lots of spins.

Melvins - Houdini

Love the guitar tones on this one. Utterly ripping, utterly heavy. Badass album.

Steely Dan - Aja, Royal Scam, Pretzel Logic

Boris - Pink

The new vinyl edition I ordered last year finally arrived. Great album, great memories along with it too.

Really enjoyed Hammered Hulls certainly scratched that itch. Also checked out Coriky which is great, hadn't heard em' before.

been on a weird US post punk/post hardcore buzz for the last week or so
Factrix - Schientot
Minimal Man - pretty much everything but "Safari" in particular
Honor Role - Rictus
Saccharine Trust - Forever Surviving You

also
Cergio Prudencio - Antologia 1 and 2
Jana Horn - s/t (beautiful album)

Cool band name. I'll give them a go this evening.

Yup, Hammered Hulls fills the Fugazi gap perfectly, cheers for the rec!

Absolutely love the last album by these and hadn't seen this. Remembered last night that they were due to play here but turns out it was back in October  Swing and a miss.

MOIN - Moot (2021)
