Tears For Fears - "Songs From The Big Chair".

Yep, still one of the best albums of the 1980s.

Now for some Mahavishnu Orchestra - "The Inner Mounting Flame". Mad record altogether, and featuring a Paddy (Rick Laird) on bass too.

Haven't listened to that in forever, must stick it on. I always loved their song You Know, You Know. Something so peaceful and vibing about it. Great for those quiet contemplation moments.

Mahavishnu are amazing, love that lineup, Birds of Fire and the Lost Trident Sessions are unreal albums too.

Radiohead - Hail To The Thief.

Fucking love this album but it has been ages since I've had it on

Billy Strings - Highway Prayers

Nice sunny weeding the garden music. 'My Alice' is a murder ballad banger!

That's my favourite song on there (and probably from them in general). "Vibing" is right... that little opening melody is perfect.

Anyone into The Fixx? Have been really into the Reach the Beach album. FFO Tears for Fears, Genesis maybe

There's a band I haven't heard since the 1980s! My older brother had the album on vinyl - the colours of that cover image are seared into my brain.

Steve Von Till. Been binging heavily on his stuff lately. Such a complete fucking legend.

Never paid much attention to the Neurosis-related outside projects TBH. Blood & Time were OK, and I gave the Culper Ring album a spin at the time, it was alright. Heard a track off the new SVT album, didn't do much for me TBH but I gather it's a bit of a departure from his previous solo work.

Swans: The Burning World

Depeche Mode - Violator

One of the best albums ever
