Yep Core and Purple are decent albums. Only had Purple on a couple of days ago and it's very very good. I've only listened to any of the other ones a few times and they didn't grab me at all though.

The Cure - Seventeen Seconds

A Forest might be my favourite Cure song. Either way, this album is fucking class. Has that minimal, skeletal post punk sound going on.

It's one of my all time favourite albums, must give it a spin. A Forest is just a special song.

First song I heard by them, back in the mid-'80s, still a favourite.

double post

I suppose it has to fit here:
Ween - "Quebec"
Untouchable.  Always feels new to me since I didn't listen to it ever until a few years back (though it had been recommended for years) but it has quickly become one of my favourite albums ever.  Literal top 20 albums stuff.  Anyway - it is on again right and it is completely savage.  It does a lot of things and it does all of them right.

I have Seventeen Seconds on now myself. A Reflection is such an unusual opening track, it sounds more like an interlude or outro.
