The artwork in this caught my eye and I've fired it on YouTube. Interesting and catchy stuff, like Everything But the Girl mangled by industrial  I dig it.

The song Black Static is so good.

Check out Rat Wars by them if you like that one.

Got into them lately myself and went through the lot of it. The first couple of releases are bad and then it suddenly gets good and stays good. New one out soon as well and the two released tunes are excellent

Nice. I'll give Rat Wars a blast. Is the singer a dude? Sounds like a chick.

Nirvana-In Utero
Still their best in my book

I always liked Nirvana back in zee day. Never quite loved them, but liked them. I found In Utero a bit ordinary compared to Nevermind, and not necessarily because of the more raw production, I just think the songs lacked the sophistication or magic and timelessness (I move to a position of hindsight here) of Nevermind. For example, even when I was 12  (edit 11!) Rape Me just seemed so weak and throwaway.

Pennyroyal Tea is weak as fuck too. Quiet-loud-quiet by numbers.

Nevermind is brilliant, everything about it is just right. Although it's often an uncomfortable position to be in agreement with the masses on musical matters, in this case there can be no argument.

Yeah, it's impossible to argue the excellence of Nevermind. I liked the songs on Incesticide more than In Utero too. Raw and demo-ish sounding, but so catchy.

Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti

Anna Von Hauswolff - The Miraculous

The Velvet Underground phase carried me onto Marquee Moon by Television. It was also great, but I prefer the grittiness of VU. VU and the Stooges have been making for some great, grimy listening of late.

Been on a Gentle Giant binge this week. Such a great band. The Steven Wilson remastered albums sound absolutely superb! A really talented and technical band. Watching old live videos of theirs is a joy!

Amazing band ! Very unique.

Neil Young - Mirrorball. Arguably, the best album Pearl Jam recorded!

Vowws new album is very good indeed

Lovely Creatures - The Best Of Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds (deluxe version)

PJ Harvey - I Inside the Old Year Dying

Genuinely think she's one of the greatest artists ever. I hadn't gotten round to checking this one out until now. It's kind of like Let England Shake, though not quite as good. Still quite engrossing though.

Rid of Me is one of my favourite albums ever, and she has 3 or 4 more that are around that level of quality too. I don't think she's ever released anything bad.
