Rolling Stones

Started with the greatest hits and working through a few albums. I never really gave them the time of day bar knowing the obvious bigger songs. Still not quite sure what to make of them. When they're on it they really knock it out of the park, but there's a lot of meh in there too. I actually enjoyed some of their 60s jangly stuff quite a bit, despite it not being what they're really known for.

Frontline Assembly - Tactical Neural Implant.

A smashing album

Frontline Assembly - Epitaph

Another one I love

A very hit and miss band I find like when they're good they're good but when they're bad they're horrid

Polygon Window - Surfing On Sine Waves

They did a great job on the repress of this.

Up there with his best work.

Smashing album. Never even knew it existed until a couple of years ago and I'd love to hear more like this from him

Was totally obsessed with Kate Bush when I was younger. Took a notion and stuck on "The Hounds of Love" earlier, first time in a very, very, long time. I forgot how stick-your-dick-in-the-dirt good it is.

Give Exile on Main St. a listen if you haven't already. It's a masterpiece.

Sol Invictus: Lex Talionis

Haven't heard this in an age.

I mentioned in the rap thread - if you like Billy Woods/Armand Hammer then you'll more than likely enjoy the newest Infinity Knives x Brian Ennals record.

Playing in Ireland at the end of the month;

Black Box - Belfast - 25th October
UCC Library - Cork - 26th October (support from Rising Damp)

I don't see a Dublin date - which is odd.

Had a ticket for Billy Woods but wasn't arsed going.

Bound by Endogamy- s/t. Bizarre band name but it, the logo and simply cool band photos on the cover caught my eye while scanning the industrial section of a local record store. Kind of dance/rave stuff by with a nice industrial edge to it, or maybe the other way around. Not heavy, maybe closer sonically to Pretty Hate Machine. Or not. The vocals are a bit challenging but grew on me with each song.

Crippling Alcoholism- maybe the album has a name. I don't know. What a cunt of a band name... seriously fucking bad. But. BUT! Musically this sounds promising going by the first song here. Gothy kind of stuff but without being too overly restricted by the typical sounds of Goth rock/ death rock... interesting. But that fucking name...

Edit. Crippling A is annoying me now. Enough of that.
