Quote from: The Great Cull on September 09, 2026, 03:36:43 PMThis must surely be the winner of this thread?

Those production choices are not aimed at middle aged ears, holy fuck  The drummer needs to have his hi-hats taken off him. Such unnecessary abuse!

Would you believe, that song is actually even more annoying than their usual fair, which is also complete and utter drivel. The complete aural seizure that is changing their production a billion times a second makes it sound like 100 different songs, all of which are total shit.

Christ...congrats to the poster though, if that's not the lowlight of this thread then it surely must be up there.
What a waste of musical ability though. I've no skills in that regard whatsoever, despite trying over the years. Just because you can play doesn't mean you should, I suppose.

I can appreciate the technicality of Polyphia. I enjoy some of their tunes, but this will not be one of them.

I wonder are they trying to be this bad on purpose, so that they will start 'trending' in the algorithm from bad reaction videos? Is that what bands will do for attention now?

Nah, we can safely assume on the basis of that video that they are utter shit. They look like a bunch of spastics as well, like something from a Hot Topic catalogue.

Quote from: Mithrandir on September 10, 2026, 10:20:57 AMI think this might challenge the Polyphia song for worst thing I've heard this year.

I'd have a lot of good will for Slipknot but jesus that is absolutely dire

Polyphia jesus...my ears. There's only so many sub bass drops you can take, the production is so obnoxious  :vomit:

And Slipknot, no resemblance of a song there, that's St.Anger levels of shit. I wish these were hilarious as the thread suggests but it's just downright annoyingly woeful

I like Slipknot up to when they binned off Joey, they've been getting shitter with each release and that song is the shittiest

Sounds like they're desperately trying to recreate the sound of the first two albums, but missing the anger because they're 50something millionaires. And the people that wrote those are fired or dead, or both

I liked the last one, the first one I enjoyed since The Subliminal Verses but they're a bit like Korn now - it's hard to take them and their whinging shtick seriously now that they are millionaires and probably grandfathers in some cases.
