It must be an intentional mash of the two words in the delivery though, right?

Speculation, your honour.

Sustained.

I just saw an Epiphone Explorer for sale for over AUD 2K. I was always under the impression that Epiphone was a cheap, beginner brand that offered affordable alternatives to Gibson. Have they always catered to the upper end of the market as well? I'm guessing they must be owned by Gibson because everything about their replicas looks identical.

Yeah they've pretty much always have had more pricey models & signatures along with the affordable stuff. Think Gibson have owned them since the 60s.

Goes to show how attentive I am  If I was to fork out a couple of grand on an Explorer or would want to have the word Gibson on the head.

Yeah that's like paying big bucks for an O'Neil's trakkie.

If I'm forking over silly money to be a stripey cunt, I want Adidas.

I've rediscovered Shades of God as part of my review of the Paradise Lost discog, actually I swapped my copy of Limp Bizit - Significant Other with my friend for his copy of Shades of God, this is pre fast speed internet times when I still took chances on albums such as Significant Other but I got out of of dodge there quickly after a single listen
