Taken from Fraught's upcoming album "Transfixed on Dying Light," which is set to be released on November 24th, 2023, via Argonauta Records. Recorded, mixed and mastered by Shaun Cadogan at Last Light Recordings in Dublin, Ireland, during the winter of 2022. It contains 7 tracks that showcase Fraught's vision for extreme music from the slowest depths of sludge to the cathartic rage of death metal and the dismal atmosphere of black metal. All artwork was created by Black Fever Art with album layout by Fraught.

Tracklisting:
The Hunt
Crimson Trail
Indignities of Decay
Increments of Humiliation
Sublimated Misanthropy

Cheers to everyone that's checked it out so far!

"In all the songs the band show how adept they are at the interweaving mentioned above, bringing together the hard-hitting heaviness, the drilling riffs, and the beastly gutturals of death metal and death/doom; the blasting, the cold blizzard-like riffing, and the cauterizing screams of black metal; and the suffocating oppressiveness and bruising misery of sludge and doom.

But those references still don't exhaust the ingredients in play here, nor capture the way the album ebbs and flows."

On the eve of its release by Argonauta Records,  NO CLEAN SINGING present the full streaming premiere of "Transfixed on Dying Light," along with a wordy review. You can give it a listen in full at the following link:

Ah lad the oul quotes are bum

In your own opinion, is it any good?

So I listened to that. It was decent. A bit like good Enslaved. The blurb was still awful but yeah it was worth the go

I still haven't gotten around to listening to this. Love the last tape I got so I may get on it over the weekend.

Any copies of yer own, Lads?
Or does it have to go through the label?

Thanks to everyone who has checked it out so far. The digital only version is now up on our bandcamp page and comes with a bonus track entitled "Prey".

Unfortunately our physical copies of the vinyl are delayed slightly due to unexpected delays at the pressing plant but will be available once they ship. For now the label is hosting the pre-orders of this version.

We're delighted to announce two release shows in January in support of the new album! We will have vinyl copies for sale on both nights along with other new merch.

Dublin, Saturday Jan 13th: Fibber Magees Basement w/ Raum Kingdom, Molekh & more to be announced.
Cavan, Saturday Jan 20th: McGinnitys Bar w/ Okus & Void Revenant (formerly Astral Tomb).

Doors for both shows is 7.30pm and €10 admission.

For anyone that has ordered a vinyl directly from Argonauta, thank you. We believe the vinyls have now been shipped from the pressing plant after a short delay and should be with you shortly.
