Going in to see Unto Others this evening and these Melbournian rockers are supporting. They are a completely new one on me  but after thirty seconds of the first song I was hooked. So damn catchy. They remind me of Sumerlands, Stone Dagger, Hour of 13 etc. Pumping bass and drums in the Judas Priest vein with incredible vocals on top. Arguably he's a little close to Brendan Ratigan in delivery, but that's hardly a complaint. I'm now giddy about the evening ahead. Check them out.

Edit. I can't shake the feeling that they sound really like someone else but I can't put my finger on who it is...

The sound every so slightly like Megaton Sword.
How was the gig?

Funny, I grabbed Blood Hails Steel for the drive in. We are just going in to it now.

What a gig.  True Believer tore the place a new one. Unto Others just ramped it up to a Metallica level. Ridiculous.

The night they played Cork they were great but the crowd was small.
It seems like a steady upwards trajectory for them.

Both bands deserve to get big, whatever that means in this day and age.
