Philidelphia/Derry based DM. Obviously needs a share here given the title. Love it.

I just had a listen. Sounds like GBK maybe?

Been sitting with this for a week or two and still hasn't got stale. Nice to see that thin Lizzy esque, Irish melody's from a DM side rather than the usual BM. A nice change.

Say it sounds a lot like Arghoslent alright. Pretty fuckin wicked

GBK/Arghoslent is the most obvious comparison alright. It's a dude from Devil Master who I'm led to believe has a parent from up north.

Came to say this, Arghoslent by way of Slough Feg.

Had it on a few times since last night it's great.

Just fired it on again there now. Catchy old gear.

Have it on again as well. It's savage. Good catch on the Slough Feg sound. Definitely. I suppose GBK/Arghoslent and Slough Feg are all heavy on the Lizzy influence so makes perfect sense.

Pretty sure devil master guy (spent has his time here/in the us growing) only did leads. The other guy wrote played, the rest has parent from up there. So least its genuine and not American cultural appropriation

Because that would be triggering...

Will have to try again another time. Listened to the whole thing but the Oirish aspect just ain't doing it for me tonight.

I think the aesthetic of this is very cool and fresh actually, Republican Black Death Metal? violent nackers and the bog wars? Fuck The World Yes Sir I'm down; but the music here itself is just kinda shit and not that interesting to me after a 3rd listen through now. And I think any similarity at all in style to legends like Slough Feg or Thin Lizzy is exaggerated honestly.

Seems to be, to me anyway, an oddly polarising release.
