Yes the seating is tight. But the view of the stage in first few rows is nice.

A nice end row seat, some pints and emperor will be the job.

And the balcony seating is spacious compared to the ground floor seating when they have that down. Definitely go for standing.

Indeed - the view is great from the circle for a few rows.

As far I know - you can't pick your exact seat on Ticketmaster for The Olympia and I think only the upper circle (top balcony) seating is unreserved.

Yeah you're right aren't ya. They just tell you it before checkout. Hmm.

I would, just not the top tier. If you get a seat in the middle section it's perfect. Nobody jostling or banging into you looking away from the stage etc. Sat there for Alice in Chains and a few more and it was great.

Caught them at Hellfest a few years back. Well good. Cant make this, should be a cracking gig. Only downside is the Olympia. Cant warm to the place at all.

So is top tier in the balcony or ground level seats?
What's the middle section? Is that the middle of the balcony seats? I've never been in there before.

Stalls - Ground Floor - Standing (for gigs... unless this is all seated like it would be for a comedy show or panto which I highly doubt!)
Circle - First Floor Balcony - Seated (Reserved)
Upper Circle - Second Floor Balcony - Seated (Unreserved)

Nice one that's good to know.

Thank you. I appreciate that!

Cheers for the info lads. I was leaning toward standing anyway but there's a lot to be said for sitting with a pint

Surprising announcement! I'll be trying to get a ticket, is there a danger it will sell out fast?

As another poster alluded to - its hard to get the head around how popular this stuff has become when you remember how obscure it all seemed in the 90s.

I've been in the Olympia a few times but not since around 99 (Therapy?) If I remember correctly. Pretty sure I also saw panto there as a boy. Now I'll be belting out Nightspirit Nightspirit Embrace my soul! In there, fuckin hell  ;D

Also saw Emperor in Grieghallen last year. Mad experience seeing them Mayhem and Enslaved in a proper mainstream concert hall/auditorium. How times change. I have some old 90s BM mates who stick true to the old spirit that won't touch this type of gig with a bargepole. I'm not going for any glimmer of 1994 magic. It will be 2024 and I will take it as it is. If it's half as good as Grieghallen it will be excellent.

Anybody got a pre-order code they don't need?

Ticket procured  :abbath: Now for 13 months of anticipation.

How do you enter the presale code in? All I get is a blue spinning wheel with no option to enter in the code.
