I thought all of these were really good, especially Day Of The Beast. That one is really funny.

Re-watched this and, yeah, still a classic. Put me in the mood for more of same, so then re-watched another from same director which I've prob mentioned on here before: the ridiculously over-the-top Las Brujas de Zugarramurdi, translated as Witching & Bitching. Spark one up for it!

I couldn't get into that one at all. I may need to give it another watch.I think I have watched most of his movies and Day Of The Beast was by far the best one for me. The Bar was decent too.

On the subject of Spanish films I think Rec 1 and 2 are brilliant horrors.

Haven't seen The Bar, but a few of his others. He's hit and miss for sure, and I guess the hits aren't the same for everyone!

Was flicking through prime last night looking for something and came across war of the worlds starting starring Ice Cube and Eva Longoria. Threw it on to see the craic and from the very start it looked like it cost about 4 euro to make and then I fell asleep after ten minutes. Has anyone else come across this yoke and should I continue on?

His never ending run of cramming movies in before The Batman 2.
But fair play to him, he's definitely talented and got rid of the Twilight crowd. Probably could have walked into the Bond roll but he had zero interest in it.

Watched Disclosure Day tonight. Arra it passed the time but it was Spielberg by the numbers, really. His trademark overreliance on camera trickery and the god light in full effect and some of the effects were shockingly bad, but it was better than I expected, given how little positive feedback was coming out.

Undertone was a good one I saw recently. No gore, just really creepy and done really well.
