Ordered 2 items from Japan and whatever genius at anpost got it mistook the Yen value on the package as euro and tried to charge me triple the customs costs. I called them straight away and was asked to send invoices etc. to an email address for review. I did all of this 20 mins after the call which now is 2 and a half weeks ago.

Got a follow up email a week later asking me for everything I had already submitted so I replied saying I sent everything you asked for in my original email to which I got no response. I emailed them last Friday asking when will this be resolved. Got a reply this morning saying the parcel has been sent back to the sender as the date to pay the customs was October 9th.

As if thats not bad enough I called up again to figure out what happens next as the seller is going to  be charged fees in Japan to get the package back and will have to pay to sent it to me again all the costs of everything will be passed on to me. The person on the phone apologised saying the issue was caused by anpost but sorry they don't offer anything for mix ups on packages so all extra costs to get this sent over again are on me.

That's the second package these wankers have sent back since the new customs fees in July also had a Hells one sent back at the end of July which I am still waiting to get resolved.

Fuck An Post. Spent sixty euro a few weeks ago, to ship over some stuff for me to use at NYCC. After a week of the tracking not being updated, apart from "your package will be sent internationally" I go back to the post office, to make sure it's actually left the post office (this happened before). They checked and "Nope, it's gone, just email them for updates"

A day later I get told "owing to an operational error, it's been shipped in the wrong channel, and it will probably be returned to sender. We apologize for the inconvenience". So now I'm hoping it'll arrive before I fly, and stick in my suitcase, and hope they don't pay too much attention. No such luck. Still no clue where it is after I get to NY. I get advised to put a claim in by the An Post guy.

Check the tracking Friday? "We attempted delivery today" FFS. New idiot postman couldn't be assed putting it in the shed like all of his predecessors have done for years, no. So I expect to see another attempt yesterday, let the old man know it's arriving.

Nope. "Your item is being shipped internationally " Again. Useless fucking mongtards.

Update, yep, they sent it to the States, obviously through the correct channels this time, because it finally arrived. Only since I was no longer there by this point, it was rejected and is being sent back home. And I have now requested a refund, after all their man admitted it was their "operational error."

Dunno how it is in Ireland these days but buying fruit and veg in Aldi is a fucking joke here lately. Everything is half rotten by the time you get it home. The cunts don't mind charging for it though  :vomit:

I find that with mince I buy in Aldi, starts going gack within a day or two of getting it home, well before the 'use by'.

Also, ive said it before, but i reiterate... people who start unloading their trolley behind you while you are still unloading yours. Firing squad immediately.

Oh yeah, they should be shipped to the front lines in Ukraine immediately,  and not even given a weapon. Just a human shield.

They've gotten round that problem here in Sweden, by having ridiculously short till bands. I'm talking half a shopping trolley of goods and it's full.
I'm sure there's a reason for it though...

I was only thinking of this the other day, not necessarily limited to Aldi either. It feels like these past couple of months I've had to fairly root around to find a box of berries or whatever that's worth buying. Looking at absolute rakes of fruit on the shelves that have mold on them thinking, surely there has to be a better way to manage this?

Stand at the very end of the conveyer belt and unload from the back of the trolley. Don't give the cunts a chance to get in until you're done  8)
