Split is officially out on Friday on Invictus. Unfortunately the cd and vinyl are delayed so this will have to do until then.

Suffering Hour are starting their Euro tour today so check their FB for dates.

Just listening now, deadly stuff, liking that melodic bit towards the end of the first track. Cool cameo by oul Nemtheanga on the second track too.

After one listen the suffering hours track don't seem as good as the last album, that is a high bar to hit though. Fully on board for the spooky ennio morricone parts. 2nd half of the 2nd tack is great. Seeing them, haunter, who also released a record today, cryptic shift and bedsore this weekend

The full split is excellent. Malthusian tracks are more of a controlled madness this time around.
Being introduced to Suffering Hour with this, will have to check out the rest of their stuff.

Not a bad approach, either.
I find most of their previous stuff quite difficult to fully get into.

I like the stripped back approach too. I am actually in the second song there just after Alan's bit. I am looking forward to getting the finished product and I'm curious to see what the next album will be like.

I think the SH tracks are enough of a sidestep to be judged on their own but of course comparisons to their previous stuff will always arise. I've also been listening to it for over a year so am more than familiar.

Have the bulk of the next album written but logistics have slowed the process. Such is the nature of the beast. It's a more intense outing than this but we'll never stray too far.

Really enjoying both sides of this, they work well together. Usually think splits don't work but this is great. Gonna throw it in again now.

Really enjoy the Morricone part in the second SH tune too. Threw me off but great addition.

Third time, the Malthusian side is great, definitely harking back to the EP but still as ferocious as the last one. Great stuff.

The SH is just as catchy as their album but cool they took the time to experiment with the western stuff on this. Overall brilliant release.

I fucking burst out laughing the first time I heard the Morricone bit. Second time around I was smiling ear to ear that they pulled it off.

I wrote off the intro piece as just an intro so the second track middle section made me laugh a bit too, but in a good way of course. Pulled it off alright.

Second Malthusian track is a whopper. Demented. Well done to all involved.

I saw suffering hour last night, and although it was one of the worst sounds I've ever heard at a show it was a great performance

Found time to listen to this a couple of times today. Class, both bands on form.
