My mate bought me one of those wee home beer tap thingys....
Easy to set up and top notch beer enjoyment....

And here I was, all champion-like after getting 6 bottles of Guinness extra stout.

Man, that's the breakfast, dinner and tea of champions.
This thing is grand for pimping up cans alright, but Guinness extra is special.

Thanks man, I needed that. It is indeed the nectar of the gods and I love it.

Still like the cut of that little tap's jib. Would it pimp out cans of extra stout is the next logical question I reckon. Was it pricey?

Extra stout is perfect as is man. Now I'd say it would be a good job on those cans of Excelsior or whatever Lidl and Aldi sell for 80c a pop.
I'm after putting two cans of Weiss Bier and a can of Hop House 13 through it. Absolutely great wee job and the head steps nicely down the glass.
I'll ask my mate for a link to the site. He just gave it to me as a gift today. I doubt they're expensive.
There's an insulator inside the main body to ensure that the beer stays cold throughout. Can't fault it...

He said he got it from DID Electrical but they're currently sold out. He didn't tell me what price they were with them....

I checked eBay and seen the black version of the one I have....
It's a bit pricey I think but here you go....

Ah grand, at least I know what I'm looking for now I'll have to have a scoot around on price, but if it alleviates the pain of living it will pay for itself

I was in the local supermarket last night getting milk and, as always, I strolled through the beer bit on the way out. See what's new etc.

Stopped at the craft beer section and noticed that, since the recent change in pricing laws, all the O'Hara's stuff that was 4 for €10 is now priced at €3.50 each and the Sierra Nevada stuff that was 4 for €12 is now €4 a go.

There was a lad stacking the shelves who asked me if I wanted help with anything. I asked how come the beers are now so dear.

"Government stopped us doing deals. Can't do four for a tenner now."

"Yeah but why not make them €2.50 each?"

"Sure you'd make nothin' off of a single €2.50 can"

"Do you mean to tell me that you get people in a supermarket in Ireland buying just a single can? What kind of animal...."

"Winos and stuff."

I left thinking to myself that if I see a wino panhandling whilst skulling a can of Founder's Pale Ale then he'll have a hard time getting that euro for a "phone call" from me.

Mods - is there a way of deleting double posts?

The can tap there reminded me of this. I think that these are only available in the UK and possibly on the border though.

I have an industrial sized ultrasonic cleaner in my workshop. The size of a bath. Hmmmm.  :abbath:

This craic with the no deals on drink is a sickener.  Well, they say they're not allowed do deals, but I got a case of Budvar reduced to €14 in Tesco last week, and they have ads up everywhere for cases of Staropramen for €17.  Not amazing deals but alright all the same.

If anyone from Limerick is here too, the Fine Wines near the roundabout in Corbally has an unreal selection of stuff, it's the best one I've came across yet in the city.  No unique deals but heaps of variety.

I thought it was just Tesco that had done away with the 4 for €10. That's a balls. I wouldn't pay full price for them, unless I was treating myself and happened to be in there. The craft beer in Aldi is easily as good luckily, and €1.99 a 500ml bottle.

Aldi is fucking great for beer, best quality to price ratio imo. Even their cheap pish is perfectly drinkable.

Absolutely. I've tried probably 90% of the ones in Dunnes and Tesco but that Brown Bear in Aldi is still my favourite.
