He's from Youghal, and yeah, strange looks abound alright!

Not the same lad so.

If you see a fella in his early-40s, in an indie band t-shirt, showing off his silky skills trying to impress some young wans  - that'll be my buddy.

The pleasure of putting the tree and decorations back in the attic, knowing it's finished for another year.

There is a good dose of Cork lads tipping around here alright. What's your buddy's first name? If I've never met him I probably know someone who has :)

Sean Duggan. Affectionately known as "Scatter".

Only three more lockdowns till Christmas....

Posted this in Non Metal Albums, but it belongs here too.

Ordering a record you're excited to hear, getting it in the post less than 24 hours later, on a Friday before work ends.

Coffee & toast, listening to Robbie Basho whilst looking out at snow covered hills.

20 cms of snow fell in madrid there, and the Roinn Oideachas announced the schools are closed until Wednesday. Tellin' ye now lads, that is a beautiful way to kick off the year.

Getting back into doing some small woodwork projects in the evenings/weekends.....head to the shed with a flask of tea....turn on the radio....bliss

Bought (or attempted to) two pairs of guheys off Footlocker online there in November at €60 each. Heard nothing for ages as the order somehow didn't go through on their end.
They said they'd give me a refund but again, heard nothing for ages. So I got PayPal involved and got my €120 back yesterday.
I got my good lady to order one of the pairs yesterday at the knockdown price of €40 delivered.
When that order shipped this morning I got her to order the other pair today, again on sale at €40...
Nice wee saving of €40 altogether, so not all bad in the end.

Dozing off in front of the snooker with a bellyful of Chinese takeaway.

Runners I'd wager. Surprisingly rich vocabulary in Ireland for those. A buddy of mine was going on about his 'tackies' before, took me a good while to work out what he was on about.

Guhies are indeed runners....  8)

I thought it might have been some new fangled type or make of runner. Tis a new one for me, guhey, or guhie, or gooey, or whatever
