Beans. Simple auld baked beans... old as the hills but still one of the most satisfying snacks there is. In a world obsessed with the newest super foods and annoying food fads these hipster foodies have overlooked a true great...
A cheese toastie with a few beans on top is one of the best lunches a man can have.

Fact.

Man, there's nothing I look forward to more than simple chillin. I genuinely look forward to it at work. Thank fuck the missus isn't too demanding wanting to do stuff. Like, I don't want to climb a mountain, there's not a whole lot of interesting things to do in Limerick, the weather's always shit so why would you want to go anywhere anyway.

I like going to the milk market in Limerick on Saturdays.

And the Gatherings also good for a game of DnD!

Waking up in the middle of the night is a ball ache but there's something satisfying about flipping the pillow over to the cool side!

When it's cold out, the moment when the car's engine is finally up to temperature and the heating starts to take effect.

Finding another chip/sweet in the bag....

Having spent the last couple of months sleeping on a mattress on the floor, I spent a busy evening getting the bedroom fixed up.  I'm lying on an actual bed for the first time since early December.  It feels good :)

An oul hand shandy when you're stressed never grows old

Electricity.

Came home to find the power off in my flat last night, still not back this morning and according to the ESB fault line's recorded message there's a "major fault" in Inchicore that still isn't sorted. Conveniently, this "major fault" only seems to be affecting my building. And of course, I discovered this after coming back from a trip to  the supermarket to stock up my now non-working freezer...

Push your freezer over to an open window lad.

Arriving on a green light this morning on 2 sets of roadwords 1km apart.......ahhhhh...
