No, fuck that. 29⁰ is too warm. I'm sitting in a shaded room and the sweat is out through me.

Pour the heat into my body

I live for this weather.  I love the freezing cold and snow too mind, but this is the best

Give me this sort of weather over winter any day.
You can have too much of a good thing though, and spending four hours in a field in Ashbourne with no breeze, and no shade isn't that much fun.

I see NI has had its hottest day on record today. 31.2c.

I think that sounds really low for the record but it might not stand for long

It certainly was a glorious day today. Had a BBQ at Hillsborough Park then a 99. Wee fella had ice cream over his face and loved it, then round to the play park. Who needs foreign travel with weather like that?

I was saying to a lad yesterday that if this place had the weather it'd be right up there with the best. But then I suppose it wouldn't be the same place to look at

Said it many a time even the most stinking parts of the city feel like youre on a romantic European get away when the sun is bouncing off the red brick terraced houses.

I don't think you've quite grasped the concept of this stay at home holiday lark bud  :P

He might have been at the hay or the turf (if there are bogs around Ashbourne?)

  Trust me, he wasn't

Outdoor dining in the sunshine, just feels so good and helps soften the hangover a bit.

Drew home the last of the turf today myself, fuck me the heat in the bog was mind bending, soaked in sweat and all the dust sticking to me. Luckily though we have our own well here, Ice cold fresh spring water on tap, coming from 100 foot down in the ground. Its like sweet sweet nectar. A day like today reminds me how lucky I am to have it, that treated mains water is fucking rank.

I was wheeling ours in at midday yesterday.

Fuck. That.

Is turf not banned now thanks to the Green Party?  I'd imagine a country Gard would be licking his breakfast roll - soaked lips at such an easy arrest.

Not everywhere, only in certain types of bogs. So far. I can see the logic in restricting and ultimately banning it, but until a viable alternative is presented, it's going to continue.

We're lucky, my uncle gets ours cut and only charges us for that, it'd cost four times as much otherwise.
