Watching and listening to Monica Bellucci   ??? :-*

I'd call that a very complex pleasure myself

Don't hate on our love

Ordered a box of band shirts lately.  Currently folding, rolling, taping them to organise and it is oddly very very relaxing

Indeed  :-X

When youre driving through lashing rain and pass under a bridge and the noise stops for just a second, always found that oddly satisfying

Haha,  yeah. I appreciate that too.

Imagine how good it is on a motorbike.

I hate driving here in Madrid. The honking is so excessive and for the most minor infraction. In years of driving in Ireland I did it once. And that was unjustified, gave the other driver the nod after.

Ventured into Spin Dizzy Records this afternoon as I was in the area.  It's not a usual haunt of mine so I was pleasantly surprised to see a second hand Siculicidium LP in there for a mere €12. I'd been meaning to check them out for a while.  Winner.

Not exactly the right places for this observation but it's close enough without having to open a new thread.  I was at a site induction this morning and found it interesting to observe that as well as the usual health and safety stuff the dude mentioned that abuse of other people due to race, religion,  sexuality or gender was not acceptable on site.  This might be taken as read for most people but it's interesting that the culture on site is being kicked into the 21st Century.  I know this might be regarded as ridiculous PC shite by some but I think it's overall a positive move compared with the typical laddish culture of the past.  While that usually amounts to little more than harmless banter,  it's good to know that ultimately respect is expected across the board.  They are also planning a Darkness into Light walk in the coming weeks,  which is a really positive thing,  I think. I'd never heard this sort of stuff being mentioned before,  and a shift towards a healthier and more positive atmosphere for everyone on site that maybe challenges the macho aspect that can sometimes dominate these environments is only going to benefit everyone.

Aye, possibly more to do with free speech, from a positive angle, than any kind of simple pleasure.

Haha,  yep.  It's an interesting and positive shift in culture.  The whole gender thing still seems foreign to me,  and hearing about schools giving out gender pronoun stickers to kids seems absurd, but then again,  young people always seem absurd to the previous generations.

One of the men's toilets at the back of our building in work only has one cubicle and its nice just to sit in there and surf on the phone. Occasionally you'll hear the door into the bogs open then close immediately as somebody wants to take a shit and I've denied them that.

That's more like it!
