The Doors - s/t
Horrendous - discography

Slayer- Reign In Blood
Terror- Lowest Of The Low. It's such a hammer to the head
Marduk- Frontschwein

Sigh demos
Solefald "The Linear Scaffold"
Realm "Endless War"

And a big ould whack of 80s pop music.

Motorhead - Bomber

Listening to Immortal - Pure Holocaust to see if it will make it feel a little bit cooler than the almost 40° it is. It's not working  :abbath: :abbath: :abbath:

On CD-

Reverend Bizarre - Death is Glory Now ....fucked up higher register vocals.
Earplugged & Earplugged 2 compilations from mid/late 90s. Great blast from the past.

Beethoven - Symphonies 1 and 5 by the Leningrad philharmonic Orchestra with Evgeny Mravinsky.  This Russian version of the 5th is fairly demented.  It was originally written when poor ould Ludwig was nearly deaf and contemplating suicide.

Åsne Valland Nordli – Julekvad, sublime Nordic folk music, 1996 CD

I'll have to keep a closer eye on your posts, that's a divine album. Cheers.

Great stuff,  the beauty of it would stop you in your tracks all right.
There is an album by Lumsk called 'Åsmund Frægdegjevar' which you might have heard?
Im not the biggest fan of folk metal but that one doesn't sound contrived to my ears.

I like the idea of folk metal, as it's supposedly a fusion of the two genres of music, broadly speaking, that I enjoy the most. Unfortunately it's more often than not a total catastrophe. The occasional sweet note is hit by bands who you could only loosely call folk metal like Windir or Ensiferum (and the latter have had a few shockers). That's not bad, the violin/keyboard sections stray a bit far into Eurovision territory for my liking though!

Ive had a dose all week, following a very heavy weekend and the heat is just the icing on the mouldy cake. Actually scalded the legs off myself from the car seat today. Meant to drop off from Sunday.
