Agalloch were from the US. If you're not familiar with them I'd recommend The Mantle.  Such a great album.

Beast in Black - From Hell With Love.

Cracking album. Super 80's vibe and catchy as fook.

Morbid Angel - Blessed Are The Sick

I watch a fairly crap documentary on it yesterday which did nothing to embellish nor diminish the greatness of this album.

Liege Lord - Master Control

Classic.

Diocletian - Doom Cult

One of the best 'war metal' style albums.

Rollins Band - The End Of Silence

Cheers, Finbarr

25 years of Darkthrone-Transilvanian Hunger

Stuck it on like I do every couple of years. Yeah.......,,still find the classic era Darkthrone a bit underwhelming next to Burzum, Mayhem and Emperor.

Are they like some of the so called first wave bands where the influence is greater than the actual music??

Paranoid - Black Sabbath

Metallica in the Top Hat

https://youtu.be/RwPFx7Ydq4g

Decent enough recording, would have loved to been able to see the band during those years at their absolute pinnacle

Celtic Frost - To Mega Therion

This is the shit.

Manowar - Into Glory Ride

Time has not been kind to them but this is still amazing.

Rollins Band - The End Of Silence
Corrosion Of Conformity - Blind
Life Of Agony - River Runs Red

Incantation - "Onwards Towards Golgotha".

Utter filth and an utter classic too.

New Malokarpatan and Malthusian, which arrived yesterday. A rocker and a raver, the latter in the sense of bonkers. Both deserve and will receive many listens.
