Moonfall- Odes To The Ritual Hills. A nice mix of primitive ugly BM and spacey melodic keys with grotesque Beherit vocals.

Immolation - Here In After
Einherjer - Odin Owns Ye All
Burning Path - Burning Path
Soen - Reliance
Immortal - At The Heart of Winter

New Haemoth "Black Dust" is out. Strong as 20 years ago.

New Model Army- No Rest For The Wicked. Despite being familiar with this band name for a long as I can remeber I don't remember ever listening to them. I've been missing out big time. This album sounds incredible. Early Cure meets Killing Joke? Not a million miles off that. Going to have to find a copy.

Love NMA, brilliant live. Check out their recent output just as good!

Will do. I love the sound of this album, it's just so good. Gotta do a dive into their catalogue.

Always loved the cover of The Ghost of Cain simply because the biker jacket art is class. Pretty consistent back catalogue to go through. Enjoy.

Manowar - Into Glory Ride, Hail To England
Iron Maiden - SIT, SSOASS

Same as that, I've never heard them despite hearing about them for decades. The closest I've gotten to them is the Sepultura cover. That description is intriguing, I must give it a go myself.

New Model Army, probably one the consistently excellent bands I've ever heard . Massive Fan. Who Evers just discovering their music is in for a great journey.

If you're inclined towards those "original album" CD boxsets, they have one with five albums (including No Rest for the Wicked).

They're no-frills packages, but five albums for €18 (as it is currently in Golden Discs) is hard to sniff at.

Those boxsets are mighty if you're not fussed about having the full arwork, lyrics, etc. I picked up a great Scott Walker one a few years ago for peanuts.

Edit: The NMA one is on Amazon at the moment for just over €15.

I'll have a look, cheers.

Their gothic period...
