Deadly. Don't know why they just popped into my head yesterday but I was pleasantly surprised to see on Spotify that they'd put this album out this year, even more pleasantly surprised by how good it is.
I didn't even know that myself. I must check it out, cheers.....

Just checking out those 24/7 Spyz guys and they're pretty good! The mid section (around 3:20) of "Anthem" is reminding me of something something fierce though. Possibly something power metally. I can hear it in my head but I can't place it.

listening to Kosmískur hryllingur, the new collaboration release between Skáphe and Wormlust; my two favourite scary wonky black metal projects.

Can't say it's my favourite material from either, but it's also unlike what either has produced so far and is a strong release! recommended if you like your BM both raging and psychadelic

Misþyrming - Algleymi

Icelandic BM out last month. Only listened once but it sounds great.

Departure Chandelier- Antichrist Rise to Power.  I initially wrote these dudes off because of their shit name (looking for an excuse not to check out new bands at this stage) but Matt recommended the album so I checked it out and ended up buying the fucking yoke.  It arrived in the post today along with the Herxheim demo. I love the concept and artwork and the music balances rawness, power and epicness. It sounds like the guitar takes were done quickly and not overly analysed so it's a bit rough at times,  but that's just fine with me.

Departure....what?? Ah no way, nope, .. can't do it

Pestilence- Consuming Impulse (1989)

Still got the original CD, prefer the original mix to the remastered version personally. Just good old school death metal.

Don't think I've ever listened to the remaster, must do so out of curiosity at least.

Nokturnal Mortum - Goat Horns

Mystifier - Protogoni Mavri Magiki dtnasteia

Fantastic death metal from Brazil with all kinds going on.....anyone into this?

Intensive Care- Tupperware ep

Just finished listening to Relentless by Pentagram, can't beat some old school Doom.

Have At Fillmore East by The Allman Brothers Band playing now, next level guitar playing

At Fillmore East is amazing. It and Rory Gallagher's Tattoo were the two albums that made me take notice of non-metal guitar playing when I was younger.

Zemial - Nykta
Tchornobog - Tchornobog

Two of my favourite oddities of the last few years.
