Is it like Liturgy sort of ecstatic black metal stuff or is it different again?

I've had the three released tunes from the new Chat Pile on a few times. I'll have to stop now or I'll wear them out before the album is on.

Different again. I personally wouldnt put them in a bm camp atall, post or otherwise. I hear more elements of grunge, pop punk and math rock maybe than anything else. Sure there's trem picking and screechy vocals but the vibe is different. Interesting band, regardless of if its yer thing or not. I was pleasantly surprised once I abandoned my trve kvlt expectations

Listened to the latest Agriculture album there. It's not bad. The vocals are a bit jarring with what's happening at times but not necessarily in a bad way.

It's not BM at all anyway

I had alway overlooked My Dying Bride for whatever reason, but recently (probably due to the whole Towards the Sinister thing) I popped on Turn Loose the Swans (a copy of which I inherited from a mate who passed a few years ago) and I'm liking it.
Definitely something that deserves a lot more of my time.
