A few bits over the last couple of weeks:

Faith No More - The Real Thing CD
Audioslave - S/T CD
Chat Pile - Who Loves the Sun CD
Funebrarum - Beckoning the Void of Eternal Silence CD
Nedgravd - Ascension CD

DJ Shadow - Endtroducing LP
There was no CD reissue for the 30th anniversary like I was hoping for, so I said fuck it and nabbed the LP. No regrets. Class record.

That's either the 2024 or 2026 release, and a double LP. How is the quality of the pressing do you find? Much popping or hissing? I know the 2011 re-release (I assume the 15 year edition) got a lot of praise for its quality.
I have quite a few hip-hop, breaks & lo-fi rap, etc records and I find anything re-released in the last 10 or 15 years can suffer a bit with the aforementioned issues. Obviously they're ripped, but some pressings do get the quality right too, but it can be a bit of a landmine.
Anyway, amazing record and I'm sure it sounds spot on. Nice one to have in the collection.....

To add to this: have you listened to Entroducing Re-imagined? There's actually some nice remixes on there. Really fresh in places...

It's the 2026 release, and it sounds great to me on my setup. I actually listened to a Youtube video about the making of it earlier today and it was said that he wanted to leave the hisses and crackles from the original samples in there. So I wouldn't know what's real and what's unintentional!
I downloaded what I presume was a CD rip of some special edition from a few years ago, so I'd have that for the MP3 player/DAP. So between the 2 of them, I'm well enough catered for in terms of quality I think. Have been listening to it several times daily since I got it. It's so bloody good.

Never listened to Entroducing Re-imagined. Might have to give it an auld listen, cheers!

Just grabbed a Current 93 'Dogs Blood Rising' tshirt from Evil Greed... fuck the cost of everything lately  :vomit:

Gaaaah double post!
I should go to Mephisto tomorrow while I'm here but neither my bank balance nor luggage can take it

Been a while but LPs this week:

Electric Wizard - Come My Fanatics
Thelonious Monk - Brilliant Corners
Callous Master - Calloys Master
Virus - Carheart
Quixkuor - The Womb of the World
JPI Vio-Lens Kommand - The Body of Death
Blood Rites - Diabolical Mystical Ritual

Come my fanatics is a fantastic shout. Grabbed Dopethrone myself recently after hankering after it for quite a while. Couldn't separate the two albums in which I prefer though, neck and neck. MAYBE Dopethrone by a hair but only just
