Health- Conflict DLC CD.

This was a blind purchase. I had heard them recently on YouTube while searching out new industrial so when I saw the CD in the shop I thought I'd give it a go, even though I had zero memory of what they sound like. Cool album cover- dark, minimal and eye catching. Musically pretty good and very heavy at times but jesus fucking christ, that singer needs to be shot. Who's idea was it to lay such wimpy vocals over such otherwise dark music. They are terrible.  Once or twice the dude let's out a scream and it sounds really good, but soon he's back to effeminate dream pop shite, killing the atmosphere completely. Cuntish.

Yeah, same thoughts here. It was actually a track from that album that randomly popped up on my YT, Vibe Cop, that caught my attention and I was surprised at how heavy it was. But yeah, the vocals just ruin it. I thought maybe it was a one-off delivery for that particular track but unfortunately not.

No issue with the vocals here, think it suits the music.  A few other lads have told me it was off putting too though but sure hey.  The only thing that gets me about it is thinking of it as being like music out of the lab scenes in CSI every now and again.  Anyway I love them the last few releases were excellent

Harsher vokillz on top and I'd be all in, but nope.

It's a beaut...
Has to be one of the best metal albums ever written...
Played it to death on cassette.....
Is the Boxset worth it?

It's not the album H&H.
It's the band H&H. The new 'Breaking Out Of Heaven' boxset just out. Devil You Know album with bonus tracks, two live album recordings and other nerdy bits.

Ah, I get ya, bit of a RJD nerd myself since his Rainbow days, I have TDYK and I think the bonus tracks are on The Dio Years which I have as well, so given the price, I'll leave it  ;D

Branikald- Kveldulv CD.
Bizarre Uproar- Final Apocalyptic Struggle To Survive LP.

Melvins & Napalm Death - Savage Imperial Death March LP

Purchased on a pure whim today, fan of both but it's not something I've been dying to hear either. Strikes me as having the potential to be interesting but not essential. Both have def had their shares of highs and lows but I think ND have had the stronger material of late.

Bluetooth portable CD player for the new work  vehicle. Thinking of getting a tape player as well

Nuclear Death - Bride of Insect LP
Nuclear Death - Carrion for Worm LP.

Finally getting around to picking these up.

On the early eps I didn't mind his vocals as much but they've definitely grated a lot more in the last few years.

The Max Payne 3 score they did is fucking brilliant.

Demolition Hammer-Epidemic of Violence. A glaring gap in the collection finally plugged. Reissue but for six euro in Saturn, Düsseldorf can hardly complain.

Picked these up on Vinted, €25 for the lot. Never ordered anything on there before and it seemed suspiciously cheap, so was a bit wary, but worked out well!
