We're already there, the libs are absolutely a central party, albeit slightly left leaning (yet absolutely never as left as your usual Fuck Trudeau/MAGA identifiers idiots would have you believe). The NDP are Canada's big leftie party. They got completely fucked in this election. So badly that they lost their official party status.

And make no mistake, the rightward swing that is happening everywhere is happening in Canada too. Just not to the extreme of the crazy neighbours down south.

I wouldn't be knowledgeable at all on Canadian politics other than stuff I used to see on twitter before I cleaned it up but I do hope the far side of anything, be it left or right is never going to be a winner. I used to think I was lefty but I'm just a left handed centrist really, apart from when I was briefly turned into the far right for being a centrist during covid and over some immigration stuff but nah, not really.
