John Blanche (78) - best known as an artist for Games Workshop, creating a lot of their iconic sci-fi and fantasy artwork over the years. His artwork has been used for album covers over the years, most notably for me,  Cloven Hoof - Dominator and Sabbat - History of a Time to Come.

Aye it was. One thing about him, he was a huge supporter of irish metal and did his best to promote tons of irish bands. Awful news. RIP.

Ah the lad talked an awful load of shite back on the old forum, and refused to take any advice or criticism on board

But to be fair he did always seem to want to do his best for the local scene, and seemed to have got a nice little niche with Burning Metal. No age to go, condolences out to those that knew him
