Bhleg- Ödhin. Swedish Black Metal that sits somewhere between early Ulver and Arckanum.

Sadistic Drive- Anthropophagy. Very un-Finnish sounding Finnish Death Metal, more like early gory US stuff like Necrophagia and Impetigo. No big brain posturing just good messy fun.

Mate of mines label (I believe he lived in Dublin for a bit in the past), usually puts out rawer stuff, this is sounding good!

Listening to this at the moment, pretty killer black/ speed metal without ending up sounding like the Midnight style blackened motley crue type stuff lots of bands do. Reminds me a lot of Iron Angel or newer bands like Deathhammer. Nothing groundbreaking but worth a listen for sure!

Yeah I'm a sucker for stuff in this style  where they mix in a few good highs and shrieks, no matter how crude they are, as opposed to strictly harsh vocals.

In the same vein I was also big into the new albums from Occult Burial and Euronymous that came out last year though they're both a bit less on the obscure end than these lads.

Yeah thought it was a savage follow up. While I'm posting that sorta stuff, these are another band I've been huge into the last while. Very Venom/ Hellhammer inspired stuff but with a good bit of focus on atmosphere and even some keys here and there.  Something a bit more interesting than the standard black/thrash fare so hoping they do more.

Gave that Barrow Wight album a spin there on bandcamp, really enjoyable, like Venom singing about Lord of the Rings.  Can't go wrong with song titles like "No Sleep 'Till Gondor", fun stuff.

Hard to believe it's just released in 2021, it's got that nice early era Sepultura and Kreator drum sound, but well varied with songs ranging from 4 to 20 minutes. Lead riffs to burn, and clarinet sections?! Picking this up on bandcamp Friday for sure 🤘🏻

Heavy Sentence rule! Was given the tape by a mate who say em live and I put it on pretty frequently
