There was a time when I was utterly burnt out on this Reverend Bizarre style doom, when every Tom,  Dick and Harry was at it but the trend eventually died down and now in the absence of those giants I'm perhaps feeling a little more forgiving. John the Baptist are doing it and doing it well to my ear. There doesn't appear to be much here in terms of innovation admittedly, but I think the lads know how to capture a similar gravitas. Certainly worth a listen.
